1. Who we are

Mohanji Datta Tapovan, Ganeshpuri is a project of Mohanji Bharat Welfare Foundation ("we", "us", "our"), registered in India, operating from Gut No 360, Village Chambale, Near Chikanipada, Wada, Palghar 421312. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as when you book a service, sponsor a cause, register for an event, create an account, or sign up for our newsletter. This may include your name, email address, phone number, postal address, and - optionally, for your donation records - your PAN number.

We also collect some information automatically, such as your browser type, device information, and pages visited, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

3. How we use your information

• To process ritual bookings, sponsorships and donations, and send confirmations and receipts
• To register you for events and retreats, and communicate logistics before and after
• To send newsletters and updates, only if you've opted in - you can unsubscribe at any time
• To respond to enquiries sent to us directly
• To improve this website and understand how it's used

4. Payments

Payments on this site are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details - Razorpay handles that data directly under its own security standards and privacy policy.

5. Cookies & advertising

This site uses cookies to remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. From time to time, we run awareness and fundraising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), which may use the Meta Pixel or similar tracking technology to measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who've visited this site (remarketing).

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and manage ad personalisation through your Facebook ad preferences. See Meta's own privacy policy for how they handle this data.

6. Sharing your information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the site and our programmes:

• Razorpay - to process payments
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) - for advertising and remarketing, as described above
• Our email service provider - to send newsletters and transactional emails
• Where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose it was collected for - for example, donation records are kept for accounting and tax compliance purposes. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain (see Section 9).

8. Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children without a parent or guardian's involvement in the booking or registration.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from communications, by writing to mohanjidtbharat.manager@mohanji.org.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
